Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Business is HOT,
and so are you!

One of my most treasured love affair is with you – my readers, my clients, my fellow entrepreneurs with a passion for serving the greater good with your gifts and talents, and a burning desire to be your absolute best!

So on this holiday, I would like to give you my timely tips on how to keep this love-train rollin’!  Spend some time this Valentine’s Day to throw some love to you and your biz!

Three things to do on Valentine’s Day for you and your business:

  1. Spread the love to all those who help make you spectacular: your customers and clients, your raving fans, your biggest supporters, your mentors, and so on.  Take a moment to show your appreciation for their business, their words of encouragement, and their time and energy.
  2. Give the gift of time to your business.  We’re all so busy and time and energy has become two of our most precious commodities, and sometimes it’s hard to find the time for those important (though maybe not urgent) activities.  If you haven’t done so already, gift your business the time to set your 2013 vision and goals.  Do a brainstorming retreat to take your business to the next level (by yourself or with your team).  Block out a few hours or days to work on one of your top projects this year.  Sign-up for a class or get some coaching to sharpen your skill-set.  Invest some time in your business.
  3. Raise your standards. There’s no better gift to yourself, your business, or the people in your life than to raise your personal standards.  Choose one area in your life where you KNOW you could, should, and want to be doing better.  This can be waking-up an hour earlier, creating a daily to-do list, exercising regularly, eating better, quitting smoking, watching less TV, blogging weekly, zero your inbox, and so on.  When you improve one area of your life, it affects all the other areas.  So even if it doesn’t seem related, your business and the world will thank you.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
