It’s not too late!
I’ve got good news and bad news for you today. Let’s start with the bad: for better or for worse, we can never change the past. Perhaps this goes without saying, but I see so many people who still kick themselves and swim in regret for not jumping on that great opportunity, not having started earlier, or having done some bad that set them back and so on. What regrets are you shouldering?
This is just a gentle reminder to you – you can’t change the past. Period. Carrying the regret doesn’t serve you and only makes you feel bad. Try this instead: take the lesson learned and throw out the rest of the baggage (shame, embarrassment, feeling stupid, and so on). The baggage will only hold you back.
Ready for the good news? The good news is you can absolutely change the present, the Now. You’ve got what it takes to change direction if you don’t like the road you’re on. Are you on the super slow byway headed to Nebulous Confusion Town? You can make a right turn, right now, and get yourself on a whole new direction. If your health is a mess, your finances are disastrous, your business is stalled out, or your relationships are skating on thin ice, you CAN turn things around.
I’m not saying it’s easy. In fact, most change comes with its arsenal of challenges to overcome. You’re probably hearing the “yeah, but…” in your mind telling you why you can’t make that right turn to your dreams.
Hot Tip: don’t worry about the “yeah, buts”. They are simply part of the process of change. What must come first is taking accountability for everything in your life, so you can be empowered to change it. Because if you aren’t taking accountability, your victim mindset will keep you stuck.
William Ernest Henley said it so beautifully:
“I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.”
It’s time. It’s time for you to Dominate Your Business, health, wealth, relationships, life.
