Does Gratitude Make you Lazy?
Have you ever wondered if gratitude will make you lazy?

Some people are afraid too much gratitude will make them complacent or lose their drive. Perhaps you fear seeing the world through rose-colored glasses and losing motivation.
The good news is, Dr. Robert Emmons of University of California, Berkley has found the opposite to be true. In his study, Emmons asked participants to identify six goals and work towards them for 10 weeks. Some participants were then randomly selected to also implement a gratitude practice by recording five things they were grateful for each week.
The results were astounding!
The participants who practiced gratitude made 20% more progress towards their goals than those who did not. The grateful group exerted more effort and were more motivated than their counterparts.
Would you like to be more energized and make 20% more progress towards your goals? Start of gratitude practice. It can be simple as writing one things you are grateful for each day.

Don’t have time? No problem. A
gratitude practice can take just a few minutes. In my family, everyone has their own gratitude journal. After dinner, we jot down a few things we are grateful for and share them with each other. I love this time together as a family, and we teach the kids about having an attitude of gratitude.
Now that you know the real benefits of gratitude, what practice will you implement?
